This event, held on the Avalon, of the Stillwater Riverboats, allows interactions in an outdoor environment as well as indoor spaces in case of rain. Our two and a half hour voyage along the beautiful St. Croix River is a fun, relaxing way to spend the evening while raising money for a good cause.

The event was founded in 2002 as a meet-up of a handful of car clubs organized by “The X-Man” and has grown to a display of hundreds of vehicles including lowriders, bikes, motorcycles, trucks and customs. The free event also has live music from local talent, a Red Cross Blood Mobile for blood donations, “Be the Match” national bone-marrow registry and activities for children. There are around 900 men alive today in the Northern Territory, who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. (since records began) Sadly, statistically, we in the NT have one of the highest mortality rates in Australia.

The funds raised at this event go directly to support a senior at risk. I’m as excited as ever for our community to come together at Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista and help the children who need it most. Also, don’t forget to sign up to donate blood and register for “Be The Match” Bone Marrow registry. My show will once again feature hundreds of vehicles, live entertainment, fun activities for the kids, vendor booths, and a Blood & Bone Marrow Drive.
